WeeCare Physical Therapy Services provides:
Comprehensive Physical Therapy Evaluation to determine developmental levelsRehabilitative Physical Therapy services provided in the home or daycare setting
Assistive Equipment Evaluation to recommend appropriate adaptive equipment
When is a Physical Therapy Referral Appropriate
Refer for a PT evaluation if any of the following are noted:
- Noticeable increase or decrease in muscle tone
- Asymmetrical body movements
- Excessive crossing of the legs or "stiff legs"
- Lack of movement, decreased motivation or disinterest to move
- Delays in development (Gross motor checklist)
The goal of physical therapy intervention is to develop more age appropriate developmental milestones and to improve the overall function of your child. Our physical 
therapists serve as coaches who teach techniques to you and your child so that they can maximize the benefit in their daily routine.
We can also assist families with selecting and obtaining appropriate mobility and positioning equipment including, wheelchairs, walkers, standers, and orthotics.
